DENSO also spotlights its MovinCool Climate Pro K12 at leading trade show ―

LONG BEACH, Calif. – DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc., an affiliate of leading mobility supplier DENSO, is showcasing its award-winning EdgeCool system for cooling rack-mounted computer servers and its MovinCool Climate Pro K12 portable cooling unit at BICSI Beyond 2025. The ultraefficient cooling systems are on display at Booth 419 throughout the Aug.17-20 information and communications technology conference and exhibition at The Venetian Convention & Expo Center in Las Vegas.

“Our EdgeCool and MovinCool products offer innovative, sustainable and cost-effective cooling solutions that protect equipment and people in almost any setting,” said Alex Merlina, senior manager of DENSO’s Commercial and Industrial Solutions.

EdgeCool revolutionizes IT cooling by transforming server racks into their own portable, energy-saving server rooms. With a condenser and an evaporator that fit easily into almost any open or sealed server rack, the patented split system eliminates the need for more floor space, a dedicated server room, or disruptive and costly building modifications.

EdgeCool’s precision cooling ensures optimal performance and continuous temperature control for up to three racks of sensitive equipment. Features include variable-speed fans and separation of hot and cold airflow to maximize efficiency in any season. EdgeCool also accommodates specialized server racks in harsh or sound-sensitive environments such as busy factory floors, earthquake-prone areas, and broadcast and recording studios.

The MovinCool Climate Pro K12 is an advanced spot-cooling unit and the most compact in a series of six programmable models for cooling offices and computer rooms. All Climate Pro K units feature a color LCD control panel for ease of operation, large casters and bumpers that made the units easier and safer to move, a built-in cable compartment for secure cord storage, and other advances for high-efficiency air flow and ergonomic, secure drainage.

In addition to offices and computer rooms, Climate Pro K models are ideal for hospitals, schools, laboratories, banks, retail spaces and after-hours, supplemental and emergency backup cooling needs. Other MovinCool products are the Climate Pro X series for cooling people and operations in industrial and warehouse settings and the Climate Pro D series with dual heating and cooling capabilities.

EdgeCool garnered industry accolades immediately after DENSO launched the brand in 2022. Mission Critical magazine named EdgeCool among the winners of its 2022 Top Tier Product Awards, which recognize “technological innovations designed to save energy.” MovinCool is the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial spot-cooling systems since DENSO pioneered the portable air conditioning industry more than 40 years ago.

BICSI is a global information and communications technology trade show that draws professionals from multiple sectors and industries including transportation, construction, engineering, data, communications, manufacturing, education, security and government. DENSO representatives are available at Booth 419 throughout the event to customers and companies interested in EdgeCool and MovinCool products and solutions.
